Diggerland USA is looking for an outgoing, energetic and fun person who loves to entertain.

Mascot

Responsibilities
  • Perform as “Digger and or Daisy” at community appearances, Special Events and Birthday Parties.
  • Commit entirely to the assigned scheduled opportunities for “Digger and or Daisy” to appear at in-house” and off property community events.
  • Responsible for the proper storage and maintenance of the costume
  • Assist in creating routines for promotional entertainment.
  • Distribute Diggerland USA promotional items designed to help increase Community awareness and attendance at both parks and events.
  • Work directly with Operations, Sales, Community Relations, and Public Relations departments with any promotions necessary.
  • Create goodwill in community
  • Personally interact with all Digglerland USA guests.
  • Work events throughout the year, including summer and weekends.
  • Requirements:
    ·       Some experience is preferred, but not required.
    ·       Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority and workload demands.
    ·       Ability to analyze and interpret common social expressions and clients’ needs or wants relating to the mascot.
    ·       Strong communication skills with all levels within the organization.
    ·       Ability to troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly.
    ·       Perform mascot duties in a manner deemed acceptable according to the Diggerland USA standards.
    ·       Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
    ·       Must be available to work flexible hours including some nights, and all weekends.
    ·       Guest friendly and outgoing individual.
    ·       Works well with children and other staff members at many events.
    ·       Good physical condition (athletic).
    ·       Must be able to work in a costume.
